About

Dr. Parismita Bordoloi has a PhD from HNB Garhwal University (a Central University), Srinagar, Uttarakhand and specialized in Hindi Literature, Language, Folk Literature, Comparative Studies, Translation Work and Criticism.  Dr. Bordoloi has a strong research focus specially on Tribal Cultures of Assam, Dalit and women Studies and comparative studies between prominent medieval and modern literary works of Hindi and Assamese writers. Dr. Bordoloi is also passionate about fostering an environment of critical learning and to connect literary analysis with contemporary cultural debates. She is also keen on bridging the gap between traditional literary learning and emerging digital methodologies, aiming to push the boundaries of how literature and language is studied and understood. As an active member of academic community, she has also been actively engaging in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and been the CTO of 60 Assam Girls Battalion, Assam, Cotton University. A Life Time Member of “Assam Sahitya Sabha” and “Bharatiya Hindi Parishad”, Prayagraj and also an active member of “Biswa Hindi Sangathan”, New Delhi, Dr. Bordoloi has been actively engaging in “Prachar and Prasar” of Assamese and Hindi Language in the North-Eastern Part of India.
